MAngband

After I learned how to compile MAngband last night, someone suggested that we could use a step-by-step tutorial of how to do it. We now have a page available from the documentation section of the site on how to do it. Please note I can't really answer much in the way of questions or help you trouble...

Just started up MAngband again to show my girlfriend, who played MUDs back in the day(!) and was happy to see a client update, but unfortunately, when I attempt to use the mangclient.exe I get the normal window layout.. but no text. I tried changing fonts, no dice there. Not ...

Oi. I don't know if I'm truly retired or not. I loved playing with you guys, the community here's great, but these days I'm so busy it's not even funny. >_< I wouldn't mind being able to come back, but it'd be like relearning everything all over again (again). If only there were more hours in a day ...

Pandora.com is worth trying. I find it actually does a rather good job of putting together lists of things I'll like based on info I feed it.

Even taking a long break, is it so much to ask that you log in every 6 months to keep your house?

Really, we're only asking you log in twice a year here. Not a real steep request.

I'm torn on this between A and B. We have a definate shortage of decent houses, but the idea behind a house is long-term storage... either way, arts definately need a reset timer. Well, 6 months is pretty long-term. It's like maintaining a lease, except you don't have to pay anything... so, B I guess.

We really should have a seperate site for it, though. Wikipedia is not the appropriate place for the in-depth info Fink is suggesting, nor would it be the intuitive place to look for a game guide.
