This sounds really neat! I'm really curious how it'd play, seeing as there's really nothing of its kind in existence.

Honestly, I'm less concerned with losing gear I already have to it, and more concerned with the fact that a unique I've already killed could pick up all the loot in a vault and leave me with nothing to show for my effort of killing all the other no doubt nastier stuff in there.

At the same time though if pre-killed uniques dropped picked-up items, this could be abused so that you let the unique that picks everything up out of the vault, then kill it, and reap the rewards. The only way I could think to get around that, would be to have them drop items only if the game woul...

Noticed today that if you kill a unique that you have already slain before, they don't drop *anything*, not treasure they would normally generate (good), *or* items they pick up (very, very bad).
