It's nice being able to work from home, though the work itself isn't the greatest (mainly dealing with grumpy clients on the phone and trying to help computer-illiterates fix their computers). Didn't get fired, but did have some issues at work that were unrelated to MAngband-playing. Resolved for the time being, so I'll see if I can become any wiser now that I'm working from home.

Day 4:

If the locals in a foreign country give you trouble and refuse to set up your Internet connection, you can always sneak in some play time at the office.

At first I used the "Fn" key on my laptop to use some of the normal keyboard keys as a number pad when that key was held. It was a pain at first, but I got used to it. This is the reason I will just quit playing for a few days after dying. It's silly, but it's an annoyance to run down, grab gold and valuables, then run back up, buy a word of recall scroll, then back down again.

Moving to the other side of the planet - preparations have been sucking up a lot of my free time. Don't worry, I'll be accruing more wisdom soon.

Identity macros set the trigger key to its original function. So in your case:

Macro options menu, (6) Create an identity macro, Esc key for the trigger.
