I really like the idea, but why so incredibly rare? Say you have these three items; Istaris, (+2 +2) 2 +15 +3 Two Handed Sword HA, +20 +20 [1] +4 Amulet of Magi [3] +5 searching To get each of then to 5 for their respective attributes (slaying for istaris, ac for magi/HA) you would need 2 scrolls...

1. I don't know of a way to seperate player level and exp. Normally, when a player dies, he loses half exp, which usually makes him lose levels. A certain amount of exp gives another level. There is no purpose in Exp except for providing the player with levels. Perhaps I am not understanding ...

I think Pernmangband had scrolls of House Creation?
If I remember correctly they, although very rare and expensive, allowed you to place perma-rock in wilderness in order to create your own house.

If you have enough scrolls, you don't usually have to worry about them ALL getting burnt. Perhaps make the BM sell *destro* scrolls along with Speed, *id* and healing?

As far as I know, there is nothing that can be done with *enchant* armor/weapon scrolls that can't be done with 5-6 regular enchant scrolls. Perhaps they could be given a high chance of getting armor/weapons to up +13 or +14? Could something be done to diffentiate the *Enchant* from the regular sc...

Roguelike Options
Most mangband players do not use the "roguelike keys" option. To permanently change that, they must adjust an prf file, which is hard for some new players. How hard would it be to set the default for roguelike options to "Off"? Thanks

I have Colluin; however, I am not trading it unless the tradee provides me with a complex life insurance policy covering Drolems, AMHD's, and Ancient green Dragons. A pair of mirkwood boots would also suffice.
