Heheh, so since we didn't respond in the first 20 minutes, you fixed it yourself. :-)
I'll have to remember not to respond more often!

Re: PWMAngband 1.1.4 is out!
I just tried a quick build from VS 2010 and it looks like the src archive may be missing a file or two... Do you have a structs file? I can't find anywhere that the struct ang_file is defined. Same thing with emit_info_txt_index_func, emit_info_txt_always_func, etc...

Re: Can't connect
For a Linux box, you can just add the address of the server you wish to use as the first argument after the executable name. For instance: > mangclient mangband.org or > mangclient mangband.seymourfamily.com It will use the default port unless you specify a different one in your initialization file.

Re: run client Ubuntu
That's actually how I have it on my personal trunk builds... MAngserver.exe and MAngband.exe, the 1.1.2 archival build I have locally is MAngserver112.exe and MAngband112.exe.

Re: What's your most stupid/silly death in MAngband?
Mine (at least recently) is this one: http://www.mangband.org/Main/HighScoreChart?v=1.1.0?dump=Billsey-4134452258 I can't believe I didn't notice that I was missing Free Action. Note that I was carrying a FA ring even! It took about ten minutes of standing there paralyzed before they finally killed ...

Re: 3D MAngband
I seem to remember an orthogonal tiles version of Angband from many years ago. It'd be easier to add that functionality to Mangband than to create a new mangbandlike game from scratch.

So, you hosed your Main Window (Vista)?
We recently saw a user who'd accidentally closed his Main Window while playing the game, and couldn't figure out how to get it back. I helpfully told him to edit his MAngclient.ini file and it turned out that wasn't possible under Vista! So, here's the solution... In order to make it so dumb users c...
