I think that the main problem with this, is non-constant play, and actually getting it dev'd, since I don't hear any updates about status or progress or anything... But if that happened, I could probably do some work on it...seing as how I figured out a chunk of the mang code even though i didn't kn...

As for not showing the @ symbol, I have mixed feelings about it. Long story short, it is harder to recognize a fellow player, but I like being able to see "he is a dragon!" lol. YEAH ironman! Its great! It gives you an intense amount of experience compared to mangband, cus its just *concentrated* diving. AND you also get to party more!
Only thing that gets me a little, is going back to mangband after ironman, and not having teleport scrolls.

well wands and scrolls are fine...usually. Their are very very few of those that can screw you over. Using a wand of clone monster against something that is stronger than you....reading a scroll of *curse weapon*...but this can be handled by using things smartly, and *curse weapon* doesn't show up u...

well, from what i heard him say, is he forgot to inscribe the WoR scroll correctly, so was not prepared at all for morgy depth. 100% off gaurd. So this could have easily occured over several turns...and posibly dieing moments after you enter a lvl in morgy depth *is* a risk that you take when you go...

imo, wouldn't be that tough to rebalance things. Give certain classes more magic, give some new spells...and part of the magic of this idea, is that some people reeally like early game. And the quirkyness of it makes it better. A lvl 50 option would be nice, and also easier, but i think it would att...

ok, now i'm confused about what you mean. The person who was killed would not be killing the thing that killed him. Like in any rescue, it would be the person who was doing the rescuing. I just think that, since if someone else who hadn't killed the unique did the rescue, they could get that gear back, its not right for them to lose it, cus you killed the unique.
