When the dserv.rh.rit.edu server was still up, my character there had multiple white mage cloaks of stealth. �From what I can see of the item listings, these cloaks are supposed to give +1 to intelligence, among other things. �The cloaks were of stealth +3 and +4. �Wearing these cloaks did not make my characters intelligence go up at all! �My performance on IQ test remained exactly the same, also. �Since these don't affect my player's intelligence, and they don't increase my IQ, what DO they do?

Apparently the game code doesn't properly deal with multiple PVals for some ego types. The base item kind should have given you INT+1 but the wizard constructing the cloak might not have applied the magic properly... I'll have to work out the bugs. This happens with several other item kinds as well so it's on my list of things to fix.
