[BMA] DServ Development Priorities

This is the DServ development priority list. It is subject to change.<br><br>[s]1. Fix Resist Blind bug.[/s]<br>2. Get Dynamo running on a schedule, and link to or display certain results on the website.<br>3. Add some competition-like statistics to the website. (Requires Dynamo to be running on a schedule.)<br>4. Add some new ego types. [partly complete]<br>5. Fix the item duplication bug(s).<br>6. Make some items like White Mage's Capes display ALL of their bonuses.<br>7. Make Dwarvenkind lanterns appear more often.<br>8. Add new throwing/ranged weapons. (Thanks for the ideas, Anyar!)<br>9. Make an arena for inconsequential PvP battles, where the results will be publicly announced and the loser teleported out of the arena, and hostilities unset.<br>10. Successfully port, compile and distribute a MacOS/X client.<br>11. Make it possible to run when you're not touching a mushroom patch that's on your screen.<br>12. Fix cave_bold check in running so you can run through things like puddles, corridors in dark forests, etc.<br>13. Add some new level generation algorithms to increase variety. Perhaps take some cues from ToME or some other games. Caverns, lairs, dens, "perfect" mazes, etc.<br>14. Make the server truly report IP addresses in a useful format.<br>15. Add a way to ban people from the game.<br>[s]16. Make RNG's attacks not take a damage penalty when used against a player.[/s]<br>17. Colorize and enhance information screens in the new client rework.<br><br>If you want something moved up the list, this is a great place to post it.
