When you party with someone, it's nice to see if something upgrades the others in the party, so I'd love it if there could be a sub-menu within the party-menu @.

It would be nice if you could view other party members Character sheet (with the h) submenu. This could also help experienced players tutor newbies.

Another deal would be if you'd be able to view other party-member equipment/inventory. Also for tutoring and helping finding upgrades.

And perhaps there could be a toggle to allow/deny other players access to this information.

This would mean that you would need to make being joined by someone else not mandatory.
If this was implemented now, a PVPer could invite someone, check out his gear, and determine if he's worth killing.
I think talking between the team is good enough.

You don't need to worry about PVPers, as picking on someone is not possible on the mangband.org server these days. Both players must agree before any PVP action can take place.

Well, the charsheet wouldn't be too nice IMHO, because it is very technical, but what do you think about Probing prayer (if it's still ingame) returning stuff similar to self-knowledge potion when used on a player instead of monster :) That would make priests/palladins even more valuable for parties!

(it's a think tank afterall)

PWMAngband already does that... easy (and not that ugly too) to check party mates gear with the (') key. Not hard to implement too...
