It would be nice to have some kind of account feature which would list and manage all characters owned by a player. TomeNET has this feature, and it's quite cool. It allows to have a single login (name + password) for all characters, and makes easy to remember all of those names... I know some people play Toto, TotoMage, TotoMag, TotoMago, TotoWar, TotoWarrior, TotoBrave, TotoPriest, TotoPri, TotoBravePri, Titi, Tutu, Tata... and many more ;)

So the Client login procedure could be :

<connect>
<enter credentials>
<optional: add account if not exist>
<new char | add char | delete char |remove char | modify account | delete account>

Modify account would take you to a menue where you could not only edit password , email and such but also edit a "permanent guild" for your characters. Maybe you could create some kind of gold-pool :)
