How about removing all characters below lvl 20 if they have not logged in for six months?

Or like this:

1-19 remove after 3 months
20-39 remove after 6 months
40-50 remove after 9 months

Maybe "remove" can also mean delete all artefacts from character. It takes a very long time but at least artefacts will be freed if ppl are not coming back.

In the end I think it would be better to have some more artefacts... :)

Agreed here. Chars not used for 3 months should be deleted. It would free arts and houses from people that have probably lost interest to the game and would never come back.

Only problem I see here if someone comes back he will be pissed of a lot. So i suggest the following:

Player does not login for X-days do the following
1) convert artefacts into money
2) convert house items into money
3) convert house(s) into money
-> put $$$ in inventory

Stuff should be converted at worst shop conditions so this cannot be exploited.

This good idea isnt new, but i think there was a technical problem in the past and the removing had to be done manually.
