MAngband

So, while afk in town earlier today, I was surfing thorbot, and noticed a cretain "innacuracy" to some of the artifacts. By this I only mean that they did not seem to correlate well with how Tolkien orriginalyy described them. The major example was the Shadow Cloak of Luthien. In the Silmarillion, Luthien weaves the cloak and enchants it with a powerful enchantment of sleep which she uses first to escape her gaurds and later to to put Morgoth and all his servants into slumber while she and Beren steal back one of Morgoths Silmarils. This made me wonder- wouldn't it make more sense to have the cloak activate for Sleep Monster rather than Restore Life Levels? I understand that the current version MAngband is attempting to be loyal to original Angband, But is there any chance that this could be changed in a future version? Just a thought.

Maybe add the Silmaril of Beren as an artifact?
Dunno what it would do or how it would work, but it could be pretty badass.

Unfortunately, Beren lost his Silmaril when Carcharoth ate it along with his hand. So the Silmaril of Beren isn't not really appropriate for an artifact name. I've added the Lost Silmaril of Maglor for my variant, which is more appropriate.
