According to warrior's end-game difficulties, maybe it would be nice to give us little more chances to survive... I mean, one can find rod of healing, rod of speed, rod of probing (does anyone use them for anything except selling), but there's no rod of *destruction*. Staffs get sucked, scrolls get burnt. Rods are imposible to destroy, so it would be one more thing, to feel little safer down there...

        If you have enough scrolls, you don't usually have to worry about them ALL getting burnt.  Perhaps make the BM sell *destro* scrolls along with Speed, *id* and healing?
