New Trade Office (Shop 9)

A shop where everyone can drop one item (or more if you think it would work), And thereby its for sale to others... Minimum price can be regulated to be 20% more than what you get from selling it.

Last inserted things first in list.

The Trade Office could even take 5% and be all the ritcher.

If you have something you think someone would pay a million for you could put it there as well, and manually set the price.

Best way, would be to go to shop 9 and collect your unsold stuff, or cash.

This would really set the rules for item sales between players.

Perhaps this could be accomplished through a system of claim checks. (Or cheques for all you people from the UK)

I'm sure we could arrange that.

Maybe you could have the option of either selling the item for cheap or having the store hold onto it until they can sell it for full price?

I have another IDEA ! Not that I dont like the first :)

Why not make all the houses in the city into personal shops. If owner steps in... he can edit by dropping and picking up.
If another person steps into-door. He gets Shop of Marv with pricelist. This could be all prices pre set, or maybe the option to increase them maybe by inscribing them.

This would make the whole city interesting.
As a result... you will need more homes outside city.

The method of using owner's homes as impromtu shops is in progress.  Several issues have to be overcome first with clear identification of ownership in some situations.
However, the idea extends this abit, to a shop 9 that uses these "home stores" in a consolidated fashion to display all "user sold items".  The number of issues with this is numerous, but are being worked out slowly.

Nice Nice !

If you get this right... Why not disallow dropping things on town level.
And I include throwing things as well. Well all items thrown on town level "disappear".

This would make it "obvious" how to trade stuff.
And if you get the message,
"This town will not allow littering, why don´t you destroy it instead."
It´s pretty clear too.
