Local logging of chat window

I'd really like to see some way to either get a print-out of all "openly said" things, or some way to log the chat window.  It'd be great to show to people like Flame when people like Emalf are acting all tough...and it'd be fun to cackle over once Emalf dies.
When the winds of change blow hard enough, the most trivial of things can turn into deadly projectiles.
