Non-Aol Inet

Post by Varguar » Fri 11.07.2003, 04:11

I wish I had a computer that wasn't running Aol as it's internet connection so I could acculy play some.  Oh yea and a modem that wasn't a 33.6.  Oh well it sucks to be me. :'(

Yes. Yes it does.

Here's a nickel. (.05AU) Go buy yourself a real modem and a real ISP account... better yet, cable is usually about $20/month. To put the cost here in perspective, that's at most 4 hours of minimum wage, which you probably exceed, and you'd probably spend more than that playing per *week* plus lots of hours surfing.

Only one problem with that Berendol.  Where I just moved to is currently almost 15 miles from town.  So no Dsl, Cable, Highspeed at all. Hell im lucky that we even get I-net way out here in the boonies!  But I just got a version to work decently with Aol so im shure you will se me on from time to time.
