While we were making a dive on our own - Halo, murdin and mclovin, we dwelled until 3.5k with mclovin checking the stairs, we ran into an undead pit- Panic - and multiple hits with the destroy staff crushed most of the opposition, unfortunately too late for murdin, who followed and was caught by a nightwing and overwhelmed after a unlucky fight.

Shortly after we aborted our resucue attempt at 3650 because Turin came in with blaze and glory at 4700 and made a 2 minute rescue operation :) Some equipment was lost but most of the valuable equipment was recoverd.

Once again on my way to level 47 :) Just lost 5 levels this time and some hours of sleep... :)

Thanks and hope to see you not so soon in a similar thread ;)

The Time hound bites you.
You have 3 charges remaining.
The Time hound breathes time.
You're not as hale as you used to be...
You have 2 charges remaining.
The Time hound breathes time.
You feel life has clocked back.
The Time hound breathes time.
You feel life has clocked back.
The Time hound claws you.
The Time hound claws you.
The Time hound misses you.
The Time hound bites you.
The Time hound misses you.
The Time hound claws you.
The Time hound misses you.
The Time hound bites you.
The Time hound breathes time.
You're not as strong as you used to be...
You die.
I was wondering what was going on... until I looked at the character inventory.
o) a Staff of Speed (2 charges) {@u1}
p) 2 Staffs of Speed (0 charges) {@u2}
q) a Staff of *Destruction* (3 charges) {@u1}
r) 2 Staffs of *Destruction* (1 charge) {@u1}
A stupid death... indeed :(

Nah, he was trying to use the *destruct* staff, and getting the speed instead... Just goes to show what a simple mistake with inscribing can cause.
