So I decided to fight the jaws. I forgot to put on umbar first. I also forgot that I didn't have nether resist.... Its at 6100'. I'm feeling REALLY out of it now. I 'could' rescue with emulord, but i really don't think i should now. Any help is very welcome.

I checked the death dump... you quaffed a heal just before dying, and considering the amount of hits he took, nether breath shouldn't have instakilled you no?
Anyway I'll check the level... I hope your stuff is still there.

Stuff rescued... well the 3 items that were dropped at the end of that corridor: Umbar, ring of speed, boots of speed. You'll get them back tomorrow when I log on.

cool. Thanks for rescuing my stuff even though I wasn't online. I'll get my stuff from you tomorrow so that you don't have to carry umbar around. Nether killed me because I was like a 2 when I quaffed the heal. That whole fight was shell shock for me. I had forgoten to put umbar on, and the sh*t hit the fan when it first breathed darkness...

With my mage I also had a lot of funny deaths...

once I was in an Orc pit, cleared it - So I thought because some etheral dragon being came and started to attack, I did not really notice and my health was slowly decreasing.

Still thinking it was some stupid orc i cast some cloudkills... realizing that damage was still being done to me I tried to get away and hammered on the keyboard, but too late ...
