Hi.. "Grez the Cruel" (Lvl 27) kill Kaladorn and me in town today.  I lost all my equipement because Grez take it when i was ghost.
Can u help Kaladorn and me to kill Grez and recover our equipement.

Next , i send an email to crimson to ban the account.

yo, who is darius and jinx

Im Jinx, Munky, but i'm not Grez the Cruel. This Pk have many names, but ( i think) only one high level. He enter to the game with a level 1 character and see if someone is at town, change characters and attack to steal the stuff

Jinx is Tobul MunkY.  Darius is a new player that he was playing for a few months.  But Darius isn't Grez.
Yesterday, Grez kill John's Ghost in the town, and he say "i don't play more" (or similar), because lost all.

Well, i sent an email to crimson yesterday, i waiting for a response.  I think that play mangband notis secure because grez can enter in some moment and the i prefer wait to ban Grez's account.

BE CAREFULL with grez, he has a good equipment.  He kill 6 player with better level than him.

we cant make anything, Fink, Fracasse (maybe) can kill him, but when they enter in the game, Grez leave... (he's a chicken)

Yes, today, in the morning he died and Zaphod was helping him, but he is still high level.

alright well its good to know who people are. i just havent played in a month or so, i just cant be sure who is who with the pker. alright well i'll see what i cant do with my character to boost him up in someway.

I killed Grez the Cruel earlier and he dropped the following:

Ring of Speed
Blue Dragon Scale Mail
Paurnimmen
Witan Boots of FA
Recall Rod
Dwarven Lantern

All other drops has been returned to Hundeby.

Well the RoS could be mine but probably not. I had a +7. Be advised that if he was telling the truth he probably has the Trident of Wrath in storage as a backup weapon. If anyone kills Aldanis, let me know.

Hmm... grez the cruel... that sounds like one of Kull's self assigned titles.

Maybe I should start playing MAng again, as I have a bit of a score to settle with him (and Pk'ers are just generally bad for the game so he needs to be stopped before he can become too powerful... thanks Warrior).

As for my rather long absence from MAng, I have been playing Runescape most of the time, but I've started playing some Vanilla Angband, and I think I'm ready to give MAngband another go.

Well, I didn't really want to take part in the killing but since Crimson didn't want to help us out and Grez killed quite a few nice people I figured it'd be best if Grez was removed safely and quietly.

And Grez is Kull, no doubt about it, he's been playing as Kull at the Ironman server and I talked to him about the pk'ing, suggesting he quit killing newbies but he refused to do so...

MAngband still aint big enough to afford losing players because of pk'ers so I'm sure he'll have a hard time trying to get big again, at least as long as people start paying a little bit more attention and not go AFK in town and such.

Hey Warrior,  you've made my day!!  Grez deserves a permanent ban in my opinion.   I'm not even sure why I bothered coming back here after he PK'd me while I was shopping in town.  I was pretty resolved to quit playing Mangband after that incident.  But I'm glad to know he got what he deserved.  I really feel like Crimson should ban Grez (and whatever alter ego's he uses).  In my opinion he has no right logging into mangband after doing what he did to me and to all the other people he PK'd.  I had spent a month of my time at least, adventuring and legitimately collecting my gear on the mangband.org server, and I've always minded my own business and played fair with everyone else on the server.  Only to have my character killed and robbed that way, it is completely unsportsmanlike and should not be tolerated.  Anyway, I hope Crimson sees the problem that exists on his server and does what needs to be done.

On another note,  it's quite possible the ring of speed you found was mine.  I had a ring of speed +8 that I was wearing when grez murdered me.  The dwarven lantern may be mine as well, I had one when I was killed.  I was also wearing witan boots.  Nothing else on that list looks familiar.  I'd love to have those things back if at all possible.

Rod of Acid Bolts
Full plate armor of resist lightning
Asanti Cloak (not sure if that's what it was called, something like that)
