And Angus didn't host mangband.org...he had his own version of the server running on bigjuan.net...something I'm going to try to get going again this week/weekend sometime, mebbe/hopefully.

I accessed the Angus profile. I saw that  he had 2 keys of the same house.
I sold this house 2 times.

I don't know whats going on here, though I guess ApreTon might be saying he hacked Angus's character, sold whatever stuff he didn't keep and then trashed Angus at 6350 as some kinda joke or revenge or whatever.

As for Angus having two identical keys I don't know the exact history of that, but sometimes when there's a server crash any item might get duplicated if certain conditions are met.

Okay, so you hacked/guessed your way into the account, working outside the rules of the game. This is not a true victory of any sort, but an abuse because your revenge takes place outside the theoretical bounds of the game.

In order for any act of revenge for an in-game act to be considered even remotely justified or appropriate it must follow the same rules that everyone else abides by inside the game. While it is not particuarilly nice of BigJuan or Angus to PK, they do it in a method which is "fair" and accessible to anyone else by engaging in proper combat within the scope of MAngband. If you die, it's because they're playing the game better than you are (and have beter equipment, but that's another part of the way the current rules of the game are structured).

When you hack or unfairly access someone else's account, you break the rules. You are cheating, by the standards of the game, and nobody should support your actions in this case.

This angers me more than any act of legitimate PKing ever could.
