Two near-misses and a death

OK. I was diving my L35 paladin to 2200'.

"What's a dark green g?"

Apparently that was a drolem. Good thing it never woke up and I ran away! Across the level...

So, next thing I know, after casting Sense Surroundings... Look! there's a vault!
Detection and all that happiness showed nothing nearby, except what was in the vault. Goodie! Free loot!

Then an Ethereal D and some dark hounds swarmed me from inside the vault and offscreen somewhere. I just finished killing those and I was a 6. (that's the 2nd near-miss) I had used the last charge on my staff of speed.

Then... guess who crashed my little party right after I defeated them and the speed wore off? A Dracolisk showed up and ended my little expedition. Fortunately there were some high level characters playing and both of them came to my rescue. Whoops, I dunno how that dracolisk slipped by my detection, but that sucked!
