Windows XP & Laptop display problems

Hi there!
A friend tried recently to test mangband. He has a ATI gfx card with omega drivers - he needs these for his tv resolutions.
He experiences the known trailer bug on XP and we tried to apply the fixes in the win-font.prf. (like described in the garbled window forum posting for XP)
Maybe you have any more ideas what would be possible

My client works well for XP with a few modifications I made to it. I have no clue how to send it to you tho. Got any ideas? Somewhere I could upload my whole client with stuff?
I can't remember the changes I made, as this was done about a year ago.
