I uncursed a ring of protection (-10), but when i wear it it still does take -10 off from my AC.

Can cursed items even be worth anything, either in terms of abilities or selling worth?

Also, if I drop it an another player picks it up, is it still uncursed?

Pity you uncursed it.

Known cursed items actually have  a use.  but you'll have to play around
to figure it out.

uncursed (bad) items have no real use.  Just ditch 'em

Remember, the destroy item command (usually 'k') is just as quick as the drop item command (usually 'd'). Just destroy worthless items and save yourself and other players the hassle of stepping on it.  :)
