MAngband

what is this 3.1.4 version i'm seeing on the metaserver list? just a hack?

It's Pi-Mangband! No, seriously. That's an old PernMAngband server. It started a few years ago as an attempt to make MAngband more like PernAngband (which is now known as ToME.) Basically it started out as a hack, I think, and piggybacked off the regular MAngband metaserver until the 4.0.x versions got their own metaserver and linked server/portal network. At any rate, it's old, unsupported, and it won't work with the stock MAngband client you can get here.

ok thanks, so mangband and TOME are the only 2 multiplayer roguelikes existing on this planet?
is mangband still being developed, i read development has stopped and TOME was continuing and i'm not sure who released the 0.7.2a version.
