MAngband for Dummies

This is work in progress but based on feedback from new players over the years I think there is a real need for a definitive guide to MAngband.
I guess it should start off with the bare minimum, in a similar order as in the image:

*creating a character
*equipping your character
*killing monsters
*surviving monsters

so, chapter one being creating a character and equipping him
chapter two covering the basic mechanisms of the dungeon and the monsters
chapter three covering macros
chapter four basic strategy

...and so on

I will need feedback on what should be included as well as in what order to present the information, this is thought to be both a "for dummies guide" as well as a "complete guide" - so the later chapters will deal with advanced topics

I...I don't know what to say...that image is just so beautiful....
It makes me wish that I could actually buy the completed set of guidebooks, for the purpose of teaching my friends, and just so that i could have them sit on a shelf...
I guess i'll just have to settle for them being free on the internet XD
Anything worth being done, is worth being overdone.

We can (you can, and I can) take the internet copy to a local print-office and get it MADE into a book =D

Awesomeness idea btw Warrior =)
And I too love the image!

This needs to be a thing that exists. I will pay you money for it, Warrior.

And I'm more then happy to contribute, though my main class overlaps yours, so anything I know that you don't is bound to be minimal =P

Well, find something interesting that you'd like to write about and write it, we need more quality documentation. Us overlapping doesn't matter :)
