Mangband.org Server Version

Does anyone know why mangband.org runs (or reports it does) version 0.7.0 when the latest version is apparently version 0.7.2a ?

I *think* I vaguely recall Crim mentioning that perhaps he runs it with a bunch of the stuff that would ultimately be 0.7.2a, but hasnt properly moved to that version due to it being an alpha - like, he wanted the flagship server to be non-alpha.
