Brutality
Get two Level 1 characters to fight to the death.  No magic, no armour - just shovels.

Initiation
Seal the entrance of the tavern (or whatever building 8 is called) with Glyphs of Warding, and then Summon Monsters inside it.  Wait until a newbie starts a new character.  If he lives, he's in the club.

The Peasant's Crusade
Send a huge hoarde of newbies into the dungeon at once to kill Morgoth, with minimal equipment, all level one, diving straight to 5000 feet.  See how far they make it before dying horrible deaths.

I was always partial to polymorphing townies into horrid things like oh creeping mithril coins and then cloning a couple hundred of them and watching them wreak havoc on the newbies.  A single creeping mithril can take out a level 30 if he's not careful.. a hundred is just mean.  Course usually some level 45 guy would come along and clean them up for cash but it's fun while it lasts.  Too bad clone wands don't work for high level players anymore

Shrieker mushroom patches just outside the normal view area are always a lot of fun. Suppose we pay a < 10 character to clone for us?

My favorite is when we go on an item cloning and player killing spree until we have over a billion gold and the Bladeturner-lined town is littered with corpses.

So that's how that creeping mithril coins was floating around killing my characters last server...
Anyway, the carnage in the above screenshot by Ashiki looks like a lot of fun. Too bad I missed it. It would be nice if there was another server 'broken' so that it would not save characters, and also containing our save files. If we got bored of rohnan for any reason, we could log on to the other server and do insane things like fight armys of druj or attack morgoth with a shovel.
