MAngband

I am shuffling things around, to secure the mangband metaserver, and other things against an expected change in boxes.

There might be some hiccups today and a bit later as to the location of the metaserver.

The metaserver was at 64.53.71.113, it's moved to 12.111.128.214.  dns has already been updated on my side, and it's a 900second cache, so this should be pretty quick.  If you have problems though, you can still specify "rohnan.mangband.org" as your server name in the mangband.cfg file.

Have you been able to find a steady home for all of us yet?

No, but todays changes are intended to deal a bit better with the potential uncertainty.

Housing the meta, dns, mail, and web sites is not difficult.  The issue is the game.  mangband is exceptionally sensitive to latency, and few people seem to have access to low-latency connections.
