Character dumps now carry a full "Scene of Death" at the bottom which is effectively a screenshot of the local area at the moment when you die.

Zal was unfortunately the first to get one of these, see here.

These "screenshots" help make more sense of the final messages and piece together the death of the character. The picture isn't really an image, it's just text, so you can even copy and paste it as text elsewhere.

Probably worth mentioning that these death scenes show things as the player would have seen them. So if the character doesn't have ESP creatures out of sight won't appear. Undiscovered map areas won't be displayed. If the character is blinded or hallucinating this will effect the scene also.

Looking at Zal's screenshot, there seems to be a master vampire and nightwalker missing... sounds strange.

"The Master vampire flees in terror!"

He ran off the chicken! Maybe Zal can tell more of the story... :)
