I'm heading a mining expedition to those mountains far south of the Town, and I have a question for you experienced wilderness-explorers: Are those mountains infested with really hard enemies? I just went on a scouting expedition down to Mirkwood, and there's no way our current team can get through those spiders. I'm just wondering if the mountains are going to be the same.

Are there any areas besides Mirkwood that we need to avoid?

Currently, the expedition consists of Anoobis (me), Zapoila (I think he's still up for it), and Allona (yes, that one). If anyone else feels like joining, go ahead. Just don't expect great results.

I prefer going mining deep in the dungeon for artifacts and PDSMs...

I just want to head for the mountains for the sake of novelty.
