Why don’t allow characters to drop artifacts in their own house?
I mean, I could be forced to drop selling it at a fixed price (to prevent collections)…if any other player doesn’t buy it I could use the artifact when I loose my stuff (I die a lot).

Back in the day there use to be no free artifacts to be found. due to people storing them in there houses, or giving them to alternate characters for storage. There is only one artifact, once you found it no one else can find it. If you are not going to use it in the near future we encourage it to go back into recycle. This is to increase game play for everyone as well as fairness. You should be thankful you can't store it in your house. Cause odds are if you could, you wouldn't have it in the first place =).
