A horrible pack of Vampire Bats have invaded your friendly neighborhood barn party and killed all the Fine Ale drinking, Beef Jerky chewing adventurers there.

Woe! Ack! The poor devils, only their bones remain...

A lamenting woman stops you on your way down into the dungeon, begging you, "won't you please avenge my poor little Timmy, he wasn't much of a warrior but he had a magnificent sword, maybe it's still there?"

Thorbear the Illusionist, a level 19 High-elf Mage took on this dangerous task, with somewhat belief that he would not make it back.

Finding the barn was the easy part, cutting down the horrible trees that had grown around it was harder, fighting the horde of vampire bats were the hard part.
With some strategic opening of doors and cutting of trees, and a drop of patience, he managed to cut himself inside the barn, to find many elf skeletons laying around, and recover the lost sword.
But not entirely without personal losses, vampire bats suck blood, and the poor Illusionist returned from the barn 2 levels lower than he entered it.

Note: I think perhaps that char was a little overpowered for the quest, but realizing that halfway through the bats was a little late...

Congrats, just a silly little quest. Was strolling around in the wilderness cleaning things up a little and thought I'd put something in that old barn again... :)
