Drop to 50' ( the first dungeon level).

You won't consume food while in town.

Crimson.
Are you not entertained?
Is this not what you came here for?

Or, have someone find a potion of salt water for you.

Townies and near-town-ies drop these.

It'll make your character vomit upon quaffing it. (This instantly subtracts a lot of food points.) It'll paralyze you for a short bit, and it cures poison too.

Regeneration increases digestion rate, too.

Hah! Good suggestion - completely forgot about that angle. Another player sagely recommended reading a scroll of sat hunger. Sneaky!

Satisfy hunger, eh? Whoops, there's a loophole in the code. Oh well, it's not really that big of a deal.

See cmd5.c for the spells, cmd6.c for the scroll, and xtra2.c for the set_food function itself.

I still remember this day, heh. I think I deleted the original post when someone on the server told me to leave town - figured it was a useless thread, but the thread persisted despite the original post delete.

My comment was "geez louise, I understand that a timer has to be long for the effect to matter, but when is this damned gorged thing gonna end?!?!?"

:P
