I think this is news worthy, since this game has until very recently depended so heavily upon UNIX, and its heritage lies in UNIX.
SCO has finally lost after all these years of court cases and extortion!

Sun Micro has Solaris. It's a UNIX, yes, but SCO has been extorting everyone for a "license" to use anything remotely UNIX-like. That's why so many of us are glad to see them effectively stomped in court.

It's neat for me to see. I've heard about the case daily for quite awhile - have a parent who follows it closely on Groklaw.
