MAngband

Hello,
I've ran into a little problem setting up the server. I don't have a long enough Ethernet cord to actually reach my destination. Sounds simple, but the part of the house I need to cut into to reach modem is about 15feet past this stone wall so I can't really make a hole anywhere that wouldn't look like a hack job in the middle of the floor. This is an issue that im trying to fix. I could use wireless but we all know about the issues of that so I don't think I need to explain that there isn't enough speed in wireless to have a lag free environment. If you could just bare with me for another week or so I will think of a solution. Thank you guys for your patiences. I know it's been a long journey but just a little longer I promise =).

If youre wifi connection signal is "good" it will not be laggy...
At least it has been working for me (just test servers though)

I don't have a wireless modem card in the server so its something I have to do, i will test the connect, but it's in the basement so single isn't the best. Guess I could always get a booster.

Since we are on the topic, I sent request to the Mang team for the meta server code. I'm actually going to host a meta server specially for test servers. And it will actually be home for PWMAngband also. It will give them a home with the understanding that all servers are up and down constantly so no expectations or confusing with starting a character one day on a new server and next it be gone heh. Single strength says excellent we will see.

I am updating my Linux system right now... After two years it is taking a decent amount of time. So bare with me. PWMAngband will be up tonight. Not on new meta server as of yet though until I receive reply from my request. So tonight enjoy! Test! Have fun! =)

This is another way to go Hades... Not wireless, not cable, not expensive.
