Where are you non-English speaking people from?
So, this isn't meant as a slight or anything, I'm just courious.
If English isn't your first language, where are you from? Are most of our ESL people from, say, Japan? India?
How did you find this game?

When the winds of change blow hard enough, the most trivial of things can turn into deadly projectiles.

I player Line Age in windows, and i hate boot in windows, then i see mangband and it like too much. I change to mangband i my problems are solved. I play a rol game in linux, and i dont boot anymore in windows

In my opinion, mangband is better than Line Age because is more interesting. it fly my brain because i imagine monster and i'm very scared for moments
Thanks to Crimson for make this excellent game, and thanks to players for help me in the game and understand my poor english

And I'm from Norway.
All though I sometimes find myself speaking better english than many of the americans here.
I started playing Moria on my old Amiga 500 when I was a kid. Won with a paladin. Then went to school, found a computer with internet, found Angband, won with a mage. Then a friend of mine, Conn, found MAngband. It was early 1997. Got internet at home and immediately started playing MAngband on ISDN, laggy and spiky.

Wow, didn't know you were from Norway, Warrior. You're right, though, you speak better English than most Americans do.

Just want to say *hello* to everybody!
I'm back and this time I really want to go down at depths where no man has gone before . . . at least I'll try.
Although I went down to 2800 with Marquis de Sade (before my WoW addiction period) I forgot almost everything about the game and feel like real a noob again. Big_THX to Fink, who reminded me to get these macros set up and all the other nice ppl. around, which are so patient in replying to even stupid questions with very obvious answers.
My native langue is German and I’m not good in articulating any deep thoughts in English. I apologize for that. Do you use VT, skype or something similar now? It's easier than writing all the time.
Greetings, Barium

Welcome back, Barium! Glad to see you kicked your addiction to that lesser "game" WoW, and have returned to the fold. Morgoth awaits!
