Smeagul dropping the One ring

Why doesn't Smeagul have a chance of dropping the One ring?  I think he should, as he's been the one keeping it until the Hobbits snatch it.

Plus it'd be interesting to see 4 level 50's rush off to find him when he respawns  :P

How about we make it a 1% chance of Big_juan_the_furby droping the one ring every time a monster kills him. that way when he dies someone will
accully try to rescue him other than me!
