Bigjuan, come on dude, please stop pking people for random reasons... I know its near the end of the server, but seriously, that was unnecessary. Please don't do something like that again, and if Jinx decides to play agin, give him a little help will you?

Jinx, I am sorry that you were killed pointlessly, and I hope you will not quit for good. There will be a server reset soon, so please check out the mangband.org homepage every now and then to see if its up, and I hope you will play with us on the new server.

Avenger, quit crying anytime I kill someone.  It's becoming rather pathetic.

*Any* time, it seems, that I kill someone, they quit.  If ONE time being pkilled makes them quit, I say "good riddance to bad rubbish."

I killed someone yesterday...I can't remember who exactly, and *he* didn't suicide, nor did he gripe and complain.  That earns points in my book, it was rather cool.

What are you going to do when I kill *you*?  Are YOU going to quit as well?  If that's the case, just lemme know.  I tire of seeing your posts of "whaaaa Bigjuan is killing the game."

Ice kills me too because he was finding Angus's gear.  It's a stupid thing because i haven't any Angus Stuff.
I found a big vault and i had take a lot of things.  I lost all things and 70% of my stuff.  Then Zaphod helps me and he give me a lot of things to recover my stuff and Ice leave from server.
But the Jinx's option is the best.  Suicide and play other game without abussive players, because Ice is killing players with stupid reasons.  I don't know what think about it.

First Branflake, next Apreton, now Jinx... how much people leave the server to change the rules?
Jinx was killed by a monster and Ice saw ur stuff because he rescued him, now he kills Jinx because he want, Angus gear isn't a cause.  

Ice, do you have a fragil mind? do you remember that u rescue Jinx in 2000 a u saw ur staff last days??

Really, sorry, the game is excellent but with this players we cannot play.

If u want that we don't play more, please say it, and we leave server.  Is too easy, but kill without causes is stupid.

Bigjuan, I am trying to keep the MAngband community alive, and when you continuously kill our newer players without even bothering to offer an explanation, its no wonder I get upset with you or "cry", as you seem to think.
You have killed me in the past, you have even killed my ghost, and guess what? I keep playing, because I like this game, I can handle a minor setback(since I've discovered that this often happens to me anyway because of my lack of skill), and I understand that that's how you play, and admittedly, in the past I have occasionally given you reason to kill me. I try to avoid that now, and as you can see, I have defended your playing style when it was called for(for example when ApreTon responded to it outside the legal bounds of the game). There is a point, though, when your killing exceeds the bounds of merely having a little fun at someone else's temporary expense and becomes a threat to the community. I don't think you have reached that point quite yet, but you are getting very close.
You need to understand that while there are people who can tolerate being pked and will get right back on with a new character, not everyone in this community is like that. People play this game for fun and for recreation, and when they put several hours of their free time into it, they do not enjoy having all of that free time wasted because some better player decided to kill them, and might decide that the game is not worth playing anymore. If you are going to continue pking, try to avoid killing these people unless they really give you a good reason(not "they might have Angus' stuff "... what gave you the idea they had it anyway?), and if you do for some reason kill them, help them get back on their feet. You have said many times that you help people after you kill them, so start doing it.
Like I have said before, I do not want trouble with you, because I respect you as a skilled veteran player of this game, and as past experience has shown, I invariably come out on the losing end of the argument, at least ingame. But when your actions exceed what I believe to be the threshhold of what is harmful for this game and its community, I will take whatever actions I believe are necessary to try to stop those actions and reverse their negative effects.

Thanks for ur post Avenger, but Ice was a PK, is a PK and will be a PK.
We can't make anything, the unique person that can make anything is Crimson.  I am waiting for him.  I think that this game is excellent but i don't want lose my time gain experience and next a PK as Ice kill me saying "i might have Angus gear".  Is stupid.
I will play and if i bored i suicide as Jinx and i will find another game to play in my free time or i make a branch of mangband and play in my server with my rules as Bran (or with Bran).

I feel very sorry , looking how the administrator of this site take part of in a figth , when he must stay at margin , he must be a referee not part of the whole thing.

More taking the words he said yesterday to one of the argentinian player , about the Jinx death, and acepting that Jix was killed fairy cos he was level 34.

Is sad,  cos since 4 or 5 month you server was allmost death, you must thanks argentinian people that came 4 or 5 in a row and start play daily, and that attract other poeple here. You don;t say nothing of that, we are part that YOUR server is alive and kicking.

Who said Crimson has to remain neutral?  This is his baby, he can do as much or as little as he'd like.  I'd hope that he'd weigh in with his opinions and feelings.  I have no doubt that if I did something so egregious that it warrents his action that he'll either talk to me/kill me/ban me/whatever, and that's exactly how it should be.

That's how it'll be once I get the pkill server back up, for sure.
