Found this ridiculous Art hoard at -450 south of town....
I hope Crimson could do something about this.

Why is everyone so focused on arts? Jebus.
It's not like these arts were handed out by Crimson himself one day, these were all dropped by monsters or spawned by the dungeon itself...and, therefore, legitimate "finds". What's going to be complained about next...finding a house full of gauntlets of Istari?
Lighten up and play. Other people have beat the game without *any* arts. Why don't you join them?
When the winds of change blow hard enough, the most trivial of things can turn into deadly projectiles.

So what art's are there?
You aren't mixing up the word "art" with "really good randomly generated loot" are you?

Here's what's being hoarded.
And, by the way, comments about how [link=

Mangband.org rules.
.....
6) Don't house artifacts. Artifacts are rare, and precious things. They do not like being stored in houses. It's ok to keep them if you intend to use them in some reasonable period of time (think days, not months).

We should keep in mind that this is the list of stuff on the *ground* in the house. What's being worn is another list entirely.

Part of the reason all those were there was because I was looking for particular items. Additionally for a while there was a timeout period where arts would get put back in the game if not on a playerbody for I think it was about a week so I never realy worried about it. Perhaps that was only a script that Crimson ran from time to time that hasn't been run in a while though, I'm not too sure how that worked.
As for Nimthanc, do you have ANY idea how often the low daggers show up at 6350? Every other monster you kill will drop that POS if you don't put it in a house. It'd be realy nice if Arts not only had a min depth but a max depth as well. That would for sure keep me from housing a lot of these things.

Strictly enforced artifact maximum depths have been on the vanilla to-do list for ages. If anyone has a patch to submit, they are welcome to do so!
