I killed morgoth. It was *so* close, I didnt have any heal, life, or *heal* pots left and Morgoth had one star, but I was able to take him out. I took Morgoth out in the wonderful maze vault, although I had to lure him inside, and that was annoying.


By the way I had something like 50 heal, 25 life, and 17 *heal*; however I was probably quaffing them excessively, out of fear.

Ok, some wierd stuff was happening.  I retired Narchan, at 6350.  I logged in with another character, Thurgon.  I see Narchan's artifacts are still on the list, his houses still owned.  Nannif goes to the bottom to look for my gear and doesnt see it.  Somehow he sees my character, Thurgon (who is in town), at 6350.  I even get a nannif bumping me message while im in town.  Thurgon also somehow bumped into himself a couple times too.  ??? ??? ??? ???  Ok, now similar stuff with bumping while they arent there is happing to other players..... HELP!!! CRIMSON!!!!

Woo, hey, nice bug you found.


There's a significant issue I didn't know about in level synchronisation.  The good news, It'll fix itself for the most part.  The bad news, I'll have to get in an "tweak" some stuff in the server file to fully correct it.  The worse news, I probably can't do that until monday.

Kinged Tomenet? nice!  One reason I prolly wont come back to tomenet too soon is that my primary computer right now is a laptop.  While the roguelike keyset is alright for turn based games, I am not sure how good it would be for real-time, especially since without using the numpad the keys available for macros would be less......That and I am currently playing Hengband ^_^
